Print Method Options
Plastisol Print
The standard. Bright vibrant colors, 100% opaque, and works on all fabrics. The ideal method to achieve bright solid prints and Pantone matched colors.
Vintage No-Underbase
Used to achieve muted, transparent, vintage-feel imprints. Thinned plastisol inks or skipping the underbase layer achieves a much softer feeling print. This is ideal for printing bright colors on lighter color garments, or getting a more faded/muted print on darker color garments.
Waterbased / Discharge
Specialty inks, while costing a bit more, can achieve a softer feeling print on certain garment types. Water based inks typically wash to a very soft hand and work best on lighter color shirts. Discharge inks remove the shirt color below them skipping the need for an underbase layer, but typically work best on high cotton content garments.
