Purpose
Brewery Branding is the leading merchandise and promotional printing company for the craft brewing industry. Additionally, we provide resources that build brewers brands by providing in-house design, fulfillment, and on-line store management for our clients. This position is critical in order to reach our growth potential and profitability by managing efficient supply chains for the organization.
Core Responsibilities
Our Operations Lead is responsible for managing multiple supply chains critical to the success of the Brewery Brandings product lineup. This role is responsible for the management of vendor agreements, product quality control, supplier pricing, and the creation of efficient workflows as they relate to our internal and external teams and vendors. Responsibilities also include managing the in-house sewing department, creation management of clear SOP’s between sales, production, design, and warehousing teams.
Specific Duties Include
Will become an advanced user of our in-house ERP system for vendor setup and managing data flow between Brewery Branding and our supplier network
Primary lead in new product development; sourcing new suppliers, quality control of samples, and keeping projects on track
Management of supply chain network; be main point of contact for suppliers to negotiate pricing, maintain production schedules, schedule shipments, standardize communication, solve supplier issues, and improve communication
Develop and maintain a quality control tracker; Primary person responsible for the tracking and improving of all QC issues using a tracker so internal or external accountability can be assigned, managed, and fixed
Work with production team to better understand product lines, improve communication efficiency and accuracy, and streamline production workflow as it relates to our supply chains
Manage the in-house sewing department; help schedule and prioritize projects in the sewing queue, coordinate sewing projects to be outsourced, and maintain updated department timelines that are communicated throughout the sales and production teams

Minimum Qualifications
Two to five years merchandise and promotional printing operations experience
Position requires basic knowledge and skills in the following areas: sales, business, category management, sales analytics, program planning, and organizational development
Sales; basic knowledge and skills to better understand sales team needs
Must possess basic business financial and supporting analytical skills
Analysis, planning and execution; possess basic analysis, objective setting, tracking, and measuring abilities for low-complexity applications with short term planning horizons.
Ability to access and analyze information from various sources, reach conclusions, and provide input into larger planning processes.
Ability to access and manipulate data sources and use office applications including effective email practices
Organization development - ability to interact effectively in one-on-one situations with co-workers and customers. Approachable personality with a strong customer focus. Demonstrates leadership with the ability to positively influence team members
Basic computer software proficiency (MS Office/G Suite; sales tracking tools), ability to update company databases
Ability to travel from time to time
Primarily Monday – Friday hours but must be able to work flexible hours/days from time to time
Must have good record keeping and business communication skills
Familiarity of multiple aspects of the brewing and promotional industry
Supervisory Responsibility
This position will manage a department and have several supervised positions to manage. From time to time you may be required to travel to markets to participate in vendor or sales meetings
Work Environment
Due to the nature of the work, this position is required to report to the Portland Office daily. Travel may be required up to 20% of the time.
Education
Preferred Bachelor’s degree.
