Position: Production Coordinator Level 1

Location: Position is based in Portland, OR

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly

Reports to: Production Supervisor

Purpose

Brewery Branding is the leading merchandise and promotional printing company for the craft brewing industry. We provide services that support brewers brands by providing in-house design, fulfillment, and on-line store management for any brewery that needs it. The Production Coordinator is a critical member of the sales team that will make sure the team runs smoothly and delivers on all the promises made to our brewery partners. Core Responsibilities

This role will receive information from outside sales to create sales quotes, sales orders, and purchase orders. An amazing Production Coordinator will need to effectively communicate information between several departments and carry projects across the finish line with style and grace. Being seriously organized is a must. Making sure the team meets promised timelines will be a daily task and you must have the ability to independently attack and solve problems in your sleep. Must play well with others!

Specific Duties Include

  • Assist sales team by creating quotes, sales orders, and PO’s with follow up as needed
  • Be the voice within the Brewery Branding Portland office for outside sales needs
  • Source products from a variety of vendors and decorators and properly quote the business based on individual customer needs
  • Vendor engagement to include; Standardize vendor communications, maintain production schedules, reduce timeline changes, effectively work ship dates and tracking between Brewery Branding sales, supply vendor and decorator.
  • Communicate priorities and production schedules to vendors for screen print, embroidery, sewing, and cut & sew hat jobs.
  • Will verify pricing and operating margin on all orders
  • Super amazing at evaluating problems and creating solutions quickly
  • Must be a positive personality and voice at all times
  • Conduct daily QC checks on items produced before sending to customer

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a salesperson or admin person in any fast-paced environment
  • Should have basic knowledge and skills in sales, and organizational development
  • Must be an amazing and organized communicator
  • Planning and execution - Ability to access and analyze information from various sources, reach conclusions, and provide input to create a solution to challenges
  • Organization development - ability to interact effectively in one-on-one situations with co-workers, vendors and customers
  • Approachable personality with a strong customer service focus
  • Demonstrates leadership and the ability to be a great active listener
  • Basic computer software proficiency (MS Office/G Suite; sales tracking tools), ability to update company databases
  • Must have good record keeping and business communication skills

    This position currently has no direct reports.

    Work Environment

    Due to the nature of the work, this position is required to report the Portland office for work duties. Travel may be required up to 5% of the time.

    Education

    Preferred Bachelor’s degree.

    Purpose

We’re proud to offer tons of resources to help build brewers brands by providing in-house design, fulfillment, and on-line store management for our customers. We are looking for an energetic fulfillment specialist to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products. A fulfillment specialist must always be on time and be able to work long hours on their feet. We expect high attention to detail.

    Core Responsibilities

    First things first…you must enjoy working in a warehouse. It also helps if you have a strong interest for the craft beer industry. The people we get to work with are the best and we expect nothing less from ourselves. This warehouse position is responsible for the accurate and timely fulfilment of orders received daily. The warehouse team is responsible for strengthening our partnerships with breweries by being accurate, friendly and fast with the processing of all orders.

    Specific Duties Include

  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Receive and count inbound product
  • Perform various receiving functions, such as unloading trucks and putting away product in correct locations
  • Organize orders to be picked in an efficient manner
  • Communicate with warehouse team and to notify of received goods and outbound shipments

    Position: Territory Sales Manager

    Purpose

    Brewery Branding is the leading merchandise and promotional printing company for the craft brewing industry. This sales position is the critical point person responsible for creating partnerships with breweries to help promote their brands through the creation of killer brewery merchandise.

    Core Responsibilities

    First things first…you must have a love/passion for the craft beer industry. The folks within the beer world are the best and we expect nothing less from ourselves. The TSM is also responsible for managing the development of sales within a specified territory. They will be responsible for the onboarding and managing of all accounts within their territory. An ideal TSM will be amazing at: Finding and developing new accounts, helping breweries realize the full potential of their brand through brewery merchandise, and developing processes that maximize the movement and profitability of these items through all available brewery retail channels. The TSM will be the customers connection and voice to Brewery Branding and will act as the primary go-to for all challenges & opportunities.

    Specific Duties Include

  • Active management of sales and profitability for Brewery Branding and its brewery customers
  • Will work with regional manager to set territory monthly/quarterly goals
  • Will find creative ways to achieve sales goals
  • Active in-field selling with quarterly sales presentations being conducted with top customers
  • Setting and maintaining the highest standards of any promotional or retail company within the following areas; sales interactions, quality of all merchandise, customer perceived value, and creating value to the brewing industry.
  • Will be aggressive with finding ways to participate and support the brewery industry as a whole
  • Develop and execute protocols that are effective for your accounts and in-house team members
  • Will work closely and effectively with Sales Support Staff to create and work within specific SOP’s
  • Will work directly with the design department to develop new merchandise for customers
  • Active with presenting new products and decoration trends to other in-house departments
  • Must be extremely organized and great with managing high levels of communication through e-mail
  • Ability to review customers art files and provide input to in house design team on layout and full color proofing is an essential job requirement

  • One year’s sales experience preferably in the merchandise/promotional goods or the beer industry
  • Position requires basic knowledge and skills in the following areas: sales, business, category management, sales analytics, program planning, and organizational development
  • Sales - Advanced knowledge and skills to execute solution selling
  • Must possess basic business financial and supporting analytical skills
  • Analysis, planning and execution – possess basic analysis, objective setting, tracking, and measuring abilities for low-complexity applications with short term planning horizons. Ability to access and analyze information from various sources, reach conclusions, and provide input into larger planning processes. Ability to access and manipulate data sources and use office applications including effective email practices
  • Organization development - ability to interact effectively in one-on-one situations with co-workers and customers. Approachable personality with a strong customer focus. Demonstrates leadership with the ability to influence customers
  • Basic computer software proficiency (MS Office/G Suite; sales tracking tools), ability to update company databases
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Must be able to work flexible hours/days. Weekends and evening events are a common occurrence

    Work Environment

    Due to the nature of the work, this position can be performed remotely. Travel may be required up to 50% of the time. TSM are expected to be in the trade working directly with brewery customers 2-4 days a week.
