Work Environment

Due to the nature of the work and the need to interact with others, this position will report to the Portland office Monday -Friday. Travel may be required up to 20% of the time.

Education

Preferred bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university

Position: Sewing Department Lead

Location: Position is based in Milwaukie, OR

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly

Reports to: Operations Lead

Purpose

Brewery Branding is the leading merchandise and promotional printing company for the craft brewing industry. We’re proud to offer tons of resources to help build brewers brands by providing in-house design, fulfillment, and on-line store management for our customers. We are looking for a proficient production sewing department lead to add to our new, state-of-the art custom sewing department.

Core Responsibilities

First things first…you must enjoy independent production work in a sewing shop and contribute to a team-based environment. The people we get to work with are the best and we expect nothing less from ourselves. The Sewing Lead position will be responsible for being the primary point of contact between the sewing department and other departments and will finds ways to keep communication flowing between departments and team members in a positive and productive way. The lead will be a key voice in department growth.
